Dr. Cat Berge PhD, DVM
Veterinary Epidemiologist and Ultra Cyclist
Dr. Catharina Berge is a production animal veterinary epidemiologist. She obtained her veterinary degree in Sweden and her MPVM and PhD at the University of California, Davis. She has expertise in zoonotic enteric bacteria in dairy production animals. Her goal is to optimize animal health and welfare, while protecting public health. Dr. Cat is also a world-renowned ultra cyclist who has competed in many extreme cycling races.
Elaina Luther
Owner of Culture Club 101, Holistic Health Practitioner, Massage Therapist, and Doula
Elaina has taught massage therapy and worked with many local doctors and patients for muscle-skeletal issues. She also heads Culture Club 101, a private buying club and culinary learning center specializing in cultured foods and other traditional food preparations.
Ramanuj Basu
Information Management & Communications Professional
Ram graduated from Caltech with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He has more than two decades of experience in information organization and management, and clear and impactful communications. His passion for the Raw Milk Institute’s mission stems from a deep understanding that the health of both our bodies and our society is deeply dependent upon the food choices we are able to make.
Mark McAfee, Chairman
Founder of McAfee Farms and Organic Pastures Dairy Co., LLC
Mark is the founder and CEO of McAfee Farms and Organic Pastures Dairy Company. He is pre-med trained, a retired Paramedic and a Health Department medical educator. Mark has lectured on Raw Milk production, food safety, and nutrition at Stanford Medical School, Rutgers University, 30 different states and internationally. He is certified in HACCP management from Chapman University and has developed and implemented award winning Food Safety Plans including Raw Milk Risk Analysis & Management Plans (“RAMP”) and the 1997 Odwalla Apple Juice “Field HACCP”.

Maegan Nazaroff, Treasurer
Maegan has an extensive background in the Agriculture Industry. As the daughter of an entrepreneur and farmer, she knows the importance of community within the Central Valley. She has over eight years of experience in the raw milk industry. Maegan has a Bachelor of Science in Business backed with experience in Agriculture Business and Accounting.
Marcy Oliver, Secretary
Marcy graduated from California State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an emphasis in Marketing. The granddaughter of a farmer, and the daughter of a doctor, Marcy knows the importance of good farming and good health. Marcy has an extensive background in raw milk and is happy to serve the members of the Raw Milk Institute.

Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride
Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, M.D. holds postgraduate degrees in neurology and human nutrition. She is the creator of the term GAPS, or Gut and Psychology Syndrome, and Gut and Physiology Syndrome, which establishes a connection between functioning of the digestive system and functioning of the rest of the body.
